Our Teeth Whitening Treatment Process
We offer both in-office whitening treatments and take-home whitening trays. During a consultation, we will see which option is the best one for you. The in-office option takes about an hour to complete in our office. The at-home option is best for our patient that are not in a rush to whiten their teeth.
First, we make sure that we protect your gums and soft tissues in your mouth from the bleaching agent. We only want to expose your tooth enamel to the teeth bleaching chemicals.
Then, Dr. Huckin will apply the bleaching agent onto your teeth. A special light will activate the whitening agent in the gel, and all you have to do is just sit back and relax! In-office whitening is ideal when you want to whiten your teeth quickly for an event. When you leave, your smile will be up to eight shades whiter.
Take-home teeth whitening is a more gradual process. First, we will take impressions of your teeth to make custom-fit bleaching trays that will only fit your mouth, teeth, and gums. Professional-grade whitening gel goes in these trays.
